Er wurde kurz Kriegsende über Ostdeutschland in seiner P-38 abgeschossen. Die o.g. Seite dokumentiert die Suche der Tochter nach der Maschine und den sterblichen Überresten ihres Vaters. Ich bin zufällig auf diese Seite aufmerksam gemacht worden, da der im Blog erwähnte "God of Airplane Parts" ein Arbeitskollege von mir ist.
